1: Respect. Respect yourselves, respect your fellow role-players, respect the staff. That means no drama, no name-calling, no attacking someone OOC for IC events. Here at The Nexus we operate on a three strike system, and if you cannot be respectful of others, you cannot be here.
2: We are a medieval fantasy dream. No modern characters, although magi-tech is allowed- such as golems and crystal-powered devices. Vibroblades and sniper rifles do not belong here. Use your head on this.
3: Alliances, trade agreements, invasions, or anything else that will effect the entire continuity must be cleared with the staff of The Nexus first. Bring your ideas to any of the admins to have them considered.
4: Consent! Some people tend to form attachments to their characters, and as their characters, it is their right to decide what happens to them. Any permanent changes to someone else's character must be cleared by the player OOCly.
5: No godmodding/twinking! All attacks MUST be shown as attempted. It is up to the defender to determine whether or not the attack landed. No auto-hits.
6: In reference for rule 5, defenders must also be reasonable in the way they take damage. A character that never takes a hit is still twinking.
7: Magic must be prepped, and the preps must be shown in-post. The target prep must also be defined, and attempting to change the spell mid-cast will cause it to fail catastrophically. Ex: [Right: (1/3)] [Wrong: (1/?)]
8: Original Characters only. Characters from movies, anime, or shows and so on, are forbidden.
9: If you want a shop in the dream, speak with Artic in character, as she is in control of the Map.
10: All OOC must be placed in brackets. The only exemption to this is the OOC room outside the Archives.
11: Poly-morphing. As it is technically shape-shifting/magic, please use preps for this. The larger the change in mass between forms, the more preps this act will require.
12: No Meta-gaming. Information you receive OOC is not to be used IC. This also applies to alting- what one alt knows does not apply to all of your characters. Keep the fourth wall whole.
